1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Verinox platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Verinox.
• Use of Verinox is currently limited to residents of Nigeria.

3. User Accounts

To access Verinox, you must create an account using your first name, last name, and email, or by signing in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Use of the Service

• Register items by providing identifiers and optional documents/images.
• Report items as lost or stolen.
• Search items using unique identifiers.
• Transfer ownership to another user.

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes or upload false data.

5. Ownership Transfers

Transfers are initiated by entering the recipient’s email. The recipient must accept or reject the transfer. Verinox is not responsible for disputes between users.

6. Notifications and Permissions

The app may request camera access (profile photos) and notification access (alerts). These are optional but may limit functionality if denied.

7. Limitation of Liability

Verinox does not guarantee recovery of lost or stolen items. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
